Furlani Winery is located on the hill of Trento at 300 meters s.l.m. in an area historically dedicated to viticulture. The first origins of our company date back to 1740 by Furlani called “Zepper” who was the first to settle and to start the activity of viticulture and fruiting.
Over the various generational steps, the Company passed to my grandfather who vinified all the grapes produced and then I embarked on this adventure continuing the tradition of winemaking, after finishing my studies in agriculture and oenology at the Agricultural Institute of San Michele and in Povo I started to process grapes for the production of wine.
In the vineyard we try to respect the environment as much as possible by trying to work in a biological way, and many times also in a biodynamic way, taking care of nature, soil, plant and consequently grapes. Almost all the vineyards have more than 20 years of life, but we also have vineyards of 50 years which are able to express in wines a total naturalness leaving the mark of a suitable territory like the hill of Trento.
We work with old white berried varieties such as Lagarino bianco, Verderbara, and Nosiola, and red berried we use Pavana, Rossara, Negrara.
We also have international varieties such as Chardonnay, Müller-Thurgau and Gewürztraminer (white berry) and Merlot, Carmenere and Cabernet Sauvignon (red berry).
In the cellar as in the vineyard, we have eliminated all synthetic chemicals. We do not use selected yeasts, clarifiers etc. in an attempt to give a natural expression to our wines.

NEGRIK 2020
Red wine produced exclusively with Negrara grapes, an ancient variety of Trentino. This wine makes a first spontaneous fermentation then goes into the bottle in the spring of the following year and here stops for 4/6 months before marketing. Interesting wine, he gets drunk and is a great friend of the table.

ALPINO 2020
A wine naturally refermented in bottle, it makes a first spontaneous alcoholic fermentation and a second refermentation in bottle at the beginning of spring using the must of the vintage. The wine is 50% Lagarino Bianco and 50% Verderbara, typical Trentino vines raised in pergola within a vineyard of the age of thirty years on a medium-textured calcareous soil. An interesting and pleasant wine to drink throughout the meal.

MACERATO 2020
Wine produced exclusively using Pinot Grigio, which makes all the alcoholic fermentation spontaneously macerating with the skins for about 15 days, then the liquid part is separated from the solid part and the second fermentation takes place always spontaneous but in the bottle at the beginning of spring. A lively, intriguing rosé wine. In the mouth it expresses itself with great balance and drinkability. Excellent ally at the table, the bottle ends too soon.

ALPINO MACERATO 2020
95% Muller Thurgau and the remaining part is divided between Gewurztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc..
.. It macerates on the skins for about 4 hours, first spontaneous fermentation and second refermentation in the bottle which takes place with the must of the frozen year. Of a nice straw yellow not transparent because of the bottom, to the nose notes of yellow fruit and aromatic herbs are perceived. The acidity is well integrated and also this wine has a great drinkability. Excellent matching with white pasta and light seafood dishes.

BIANCO 2020
Grapes 90% Muller Thurgau and 10% between Gewurztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc. First alcoholic fermentation in a spontaneous way, then second refermentation in bottle in the spring of the following year.
The wine has a nice straw colour, the nose intense notes of white fruit, aromatic herbs, sage and green apple. In the mouth it is fresh and balanced, easy to drink.

BRUT 20 2018
Classic Method sparkling wine made from Chardonnay (80%) and Pinot Noir (20%). The first fermentation takes place spontaneously, then referments in the bottle at the beginning of spring. The wine remains in the bottle for 24 months, no disgorgement is performed but only the passage from the crown cork to the cork. It is an elegant wine, fruity and floral to the nose, savory and balanced in the mouth with a satisfying bubble that cleanses and recalls the next sip. Great as an aperitif but also throughout the meal.
